FURNIQOS furniture is made by factories in China and imported by us directly. There is no distributor or multi-layer retail chain between the maker and you – that is where the saving comes from, not from lowering the standard of the piece.
Five stages connect the first selection to delivery and support.
We shortlist manufacturers for each category – sofas, dining, beds, storage – based on their production capability, material options and past export work. We order against a confirmed specification: dimensions, wood or board type, upholstery, finish.
Before the goods leave the factory, they are inspected against the agreed specification – dimensions, joinery, finish, upholstery stitching, hardware. Anything that does not match is corrected at the factory, before freight is paid for.
FURNIQOS handles customs documentation, applicable duties and GST. Wooden packaging used for export has to meet international treatment standards (ISPM 15) so that the shipment clears without delay.
Sea freight is rough on furniture. Once the container reaches India, we unpack and inspect each piece again for transit damage, moisture and finish defects. Damaged pieces are not delivered to you.
Cleared pieces are packed for domestic transit and sent to your address. We confirm the delivery slot with you before the vehicle leaves.
A piece bought through a conventional retail chain typically passes through several sellers, each adding a margin. FURNIQOS removes the middle layers. The cost of making, shipping and clearing the piece stays; the stacked margins do not.
Paid directly to the factory. Material and finishing standards are set in the specification, not reduced.
Reduced. No distributor or multi-layer retail markup between factory and customer.
Included. Sea freight, customs duties and GST are part of the price you see.
Kept. Every piece is checked at the factory before shipping and again when it arrives in India.
Removed. You are not paying for the rent and running costs of a large retail showroom.
